About us
We are Baltimore City residents serving other Baltimore City residents.
We cook wholesome, homemade comfort food to serve at noon every Saturday at the corner of North & Pennsylvania Avenues to anyone who'd like to join us. We think of ourselves as a pop-up cafe that happens to be free and open to all. Sharing food made the way we would prepare it for our own friends and family helps us connect with the guests we serve. Who doesn't love mac & cheese, chicken noodle soup, or hot buttered cornbread?
Comfort food can bring up warm memories and bridge our differences. That's the Cornbread part.
We show up with warmth, hospitality, and a desire to connect with our neighbors. We offer a welcoming smile and a friendly chat to all who stop by to see us. We welcome all, we serve all. Every week, we strive to create a space of welcome and inclusivity in one small corner of Baltimore. That's the Love part.
Together, we are Love & Cornbread.
