Serving Help on Saturdays at Noon
We serve hot, homemade meals every Saturday at noon at North & Pennsylvania Avenues. It's a quick and easy way to volunteer, and the most rewarding thing you can do with your Saturday morning. Fill out our inquiry form to learn more about our location, volunteer guidelines, and other details. For liability reasons, only adults over age 18 may join us to serve.
Bag Lunch Help
Bag lunches are a critical part of our offerings each week because they provide a second meal for our guests to take along with them. Bag lunch volunteers deliver 50+lunches to L&C HQ up to 24 hours in advance, and serving volunteers distribute them on Saturdays at noon. Wellness Bag Help
Each week we hand out face masks and an assortment of hygiene items to our guests. Our wellness kits typically contain items such as: bar soap, hand sanitizer, socks, wet wipes, toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, etc. Purchasing the items and assembling them into kits is a great family or group activity.
