As one guest put it, "We had the best stuff this week!" It was good timing, too, as it was bitterly cold. We had the amazing lunches and cupcakes featured the other day, we had hand-knitted hats and scarves, and we had our new cold-weather kits and hot cocoa. Special thanks to volunteer Deb who made the gorgeous turkey soup we served this week using stock made from her own Thanksgiving turkey.
Stats: 46 turkey soup, 45 cornbread, 60 bag lunches, 80 cupcakes, 5 gallons hot cocoa, 35 waters, 50 cold-weather kits, 50 hats and 12 scarves, and lots of masks.
