We had two birthdays this week, so Vincent from Tuerk House and volunteer Jen H. both got to wear the sparkly pink birthday sash. (One of them was a lot happier about wearing it than the other. :)) It was as windy as all get out, but the sun was shining and everyone was in a great mood. The soup was a hit: Mexican turkey and rice. And as always, so many sincere thank you's and bless you's from our guests. We handed out more Narcan this week and have been leaving boxes with our friends in the barbershop for distribution as well. We are so appreciative of being able to set up shop outside their door and for the guests and friends who help unload our supplies each week. Thank you, Penn North friends, and see you next Saturday!
