29 degrees, 20 mph winds, and snow this morning but we showed up to serve. Thanks to a brilliant idea from volunteer Deb, we switched over to Love & Cornbread Curbside Pickup this week. We scaled down to just a few volunteers and served out of the bag lunches, fruit, water, cookies, rain ponchos, and fleece blankets out of the back of our cars. Did not expect blankets would come in so handy mid-March! It was cold and windy but worth it to see our guests.
