All kinds of good vibes out there today. Not too cold, lots of sun, and delicious macaroni with homemade meat sauce to share. One of my favorite regulars, Robert, stopped by and we reminisced about how when we first started two years ago, he would watch out for us. He would pull up his wheelchair to our table and eat his lunch with us and I thought he was just being chatty. And that was true too...he's very friendly and a joy to talk with. But he was also making sure that no one took advantage of us or took more than their share of what we offered. I'm grateful every day for friends like Robert who have known us from the very beginning, who have accepted our false starts with grace, and who continue to show with kindness and support.
