Donate Items for Direct Distribution to People In Need
We listen to the people we serve, and respond to their needs via in-kind donations from the friends of Love & Cornbread. We limit what we accept in order to be sure that we offer only what will be needed and appreciated. Bulk hygiene items such as soap, socks, sanitizer, and other items on our Amazon wishlist are always appreciated. We love to partner with organizations who can offer larger-scale donations as well as with individuals who want to help. All donations to Love & Cornbread are fully tax-deductible per our relationship with Players Philanthropy Fund. Please send us an inquiry to learn more.
Volunteer Your Time
We welcome volunteer help in a variety of forms - whatever is most enjoyable and meaningful to you. We need people to prepare and donate lunch/wellness bags as well as people to join us in serving every Saturday at noon at North & Pennsylvania Avenues. We are interested in partnering with organization with shared missions, particularly those in the neighborhood of North & Pennsylvania Avenues. We are a recognized by the IRS as a 501 (c)(3) public charity and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Your support will go toward purchasing of food and supplies for feeding more than 10K guests per year.
